KANSAS HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION

KHCA's comprehensive educational programs provide plenty of opportunity for training and continuing education for facility staff throughout the year. KHCA offers workshops, seminars, conferences and conventions at different locations around the state. All KHCA continuing education opportunities are accredited by the state of Kansas.

Legislative Reception
Every January, KHCA offers a legislative reception in conjunction with Winter Conference with the intent of helping long term care providers network with their legislators. KHCA members have the opportunity to socialize during a casual legislative reception.

Convention & Trade Show
Annually KHCA offers a long term care related trade show for it's members and vendors. The convention and trade show runs two days in length and offers association business meetings, social events and networking opportunities.

Winter Conference
This annual event is held in January. It is an opportunity for various committees and the KHCA Board to plan strategies for the coming association year. Workshops and seminars are scheduled to coincide with this two day event.

Spring Conference
This is a casual conference where members are given the opportunity to network with each other in the classroom while earning CEU's.
 

KANSAS CENTER FOR ASSISTED LIVING

The Kansas Center for Assisted Living (KCAL) program is designed to provide information, advocacy, education, member services, and leadership opportunities to Kansas assisted living/residential care providers.

KCAL sponsors education and conference events throughout the year and at various locations across the state. In addition, members are updated with a quarterly newsletter titled "kcal". Keeping our members informed is important, especially in this fast growing component of the long term care profession. To meet the increasing need for advocacy, KCAL works with key state agencies to ensure providers are able to continue to deliver the highest quality care to residents.
