This workshop has been specifically created for MDS Coordinators that have been in the MDS position for less than 5 years. It is also recommend for Administrators to attend to further understand the MDS process. This program also serves as a refresher for those who want to brush up to make sure they are up to date on the most current information.

Nurses: The Kansas Healthcare Association is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. The virtual portion of this education session is approved for 6.5 contact hours for each full day applicable for RN and LPN relicensure (KSBN LT0030-0338) A total of 13.0 contact hours.
Administrators: This course offering is approved for 6.5 continuing education clock hours for each virtual day by for Kansas licensed adult care home administrators by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Operators: This course offering is approved for 6.5 continuing education clock hours per day for the Kansas licensed adult care home operators in the core area of Administration by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Social Workers: This course is approved for 6.5 hours of continuing education hours per day at total of 13.0 hours for Kansas licensed Social Workers by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board. Approval number: 17-006.
