Course Description:
This session reviews recent SNF/long term care industry False Claims Act activity and settlements related to allegations of fraud and abuse with discussion of the risk management implications for QAPI and Compliance and Ethics Programs. Actual case studies in hot topic areas for post-acute care providers will be discussed. New and seasoned leaders will gain insight into industry risks and potential mitigation strategies with skills developed in identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities related to recent government payers’ fraud and abuse trends.
