Course Description:
This session is part of a 4-session series that will provide actionable insights and resources to bolster retention of nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Participants will receive information on evaluating key risk factors for staff exiting employment with strategies to perform root cause analysis and prioritize retention interventions. This session in the series will include methods for measuring staff engagement and empowerment–which are potential indicators of staff job satisfaction and a measure of risk of leaving an organization. In addition, tangible action planning to promote improvement in these areas will be covered based on current research. Through a combination of expert instruction, practical examples, participant engagement opportunities and actionable strategies, this series will provide a catalyst to implement a step in the right direction toward your facility’s staff retention goals.
