Course Description for the Series:
Social Service documentation is paramount to the well-being of every resident. Clear communication skills through professional documentation is vital to benefit residents and the organization. Four key components are necessary for social service professional documentation and include: critical thinking, organization, problem solving and effective transition of thoughts to words in the documentation. This session will share documentation techniques to enhance the lives of the residents served.
Learning Objectives for the Series:
- Participants will understand the principles of healthcare documentation.
- Participants will be able to verbalize and understand the components of professional standards of documentation for social services.
- Participants will be able understand how to integrate the four key components of social service documentation.
