Course Description:
This session of the Restorative Nursing Series will expand understanding of the role of the restorative nurse aide (RNA) and Restorative Nurse Manager (RNM), and discuss principles of restorative clinical competency. Tools will be provided including sample job descriptions and RNA competency checklist. Additional discussion includes methods for promoting successful program outcomes and overcoming barriers.
Learning Objectives
- Establish staff competency with RNP and promote participation for successful program outcomes.
- Understand restorative nurse aide (RNA) and restorative nurse manager (RNM) roles and responsibilities.
- Review preliminary steps for initiating the program.
