Course Description:
In the delicate realm of end-of-life care within SNFs/NFs, the importance of supportive and empathetic documentation cannot be overstated. This presentation is crafted to assist healthcare professionals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to provide comprehensive and compassionate documentation during the final stages of life.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will acquire the skills to create thorough and compassionate documentation including care preferences, goals, and interventions specific to end-of-life scenarios.
- Participants will gain an understanding of the regulatory and ethical considerations associated with end-of-life care documentation.
- Participants will understand how to document the holistic aspects of care, including psychological and spiritual dimensions, to ensure a dignified and compassionate end-of-life experience for residents and their families.
