2026 Joint Provider Fire Marshal Workshop
Join fellow Kansas Adult Care Home Professionals for this collaborative one-day training developed by Kansas long-term care associations and the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Designed to promote understanding, consistency, and compliance, this program will explore frequently cited fire and life safety deficiencies, regulatory updates, and other topics of interest to providers. Hear directly from Office of the State Fire Marshal staff and industry experts as they share practical guidance, answer questions, and discuss issues affecting facilities across Kansas.

The Joint Provider Training Series is brought to you through a collaboration with the Kansas Office of the State Fire Marshal Kansas Health Care Association (KHCA) , LeadingAge Kansas and the Kansas Adult Care Executives (KACE).
Administrators: This course is approved for 6.5 continuing education credit hours for adult care home administrators. Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services Health Occupations Credentialing approved sponsorship number LTS-A0001.
Nurses: The Kansas Health Care Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 6.5 contact hours applicable for RN and LPN relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing Approved Provider Number: LT0030-0338.
Operators: This course is approved for 6.5 continuing education credit hours for adult care home operators in the core area of Administration by Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services Health Occupations Credentialing approved sponsorship number LTS-A0001.
