Leadership for Charge Nurses (Lunch and Learn):

This interactive course is focused on the difference & similarities of “leadership” and “management” and how they are both needed in the role of the charge nurse including incorporation of all personality types, strengths and weaknesses.  We’ll also spend time talking about topics that affect nurses in leadership roles including survey, 5-Star Ratings, documentation and others.  The course will allow for time for learning from each other and networking.

This includes the discussions around the role of the charge nurse to leadership and management, team building, leadership styles and how personal and organizational core values affect leadership and management skills.

 Administrators – This course is approved for 5.0 continuing education clock hours for Adult Care Home Administrators by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) HOC Long-Term Sponsorship number: LTS-A0001.
